Managing the Employment of Individuals with Disabilities: Experience and Problems

Abstract. The article concerns the problems of employment and work organization of individuals with disabilities in Russia. The analysis of statistical data on the population dynamics of disabled workers and their employment in the Russian Federation and in the Republic of Khakassia is conducted. The author considers the main directions of the government policy and the duties of employers in respect of disabled persons and shares her experience of organizing special workplaces for employees with disabi­lities in the Katanov State University of Khakassia. The author gives some recommendations to coordinate employment of individuals with disabilities in a modern Russian organization.
