Special Features of Economic Thinking of a Manager

Abstract. The paper defines the special features of economic thinking of a manager as a subject of management of economic actors activity. It specifies the essence of the term “economic thinking of a manager”, its object and subject. Peculiarities of economic thinking of a manager include a clear goal; systemic understanding of the development process of a particular need; a system of appropriate terms and definitions; the necessity for verbal and written interpretation of the way how the system of meeting the needs is understood; readiness to provide personal interpretation which can and should be changed. The author pays attention to the need for active communication between a manager and specialists in a particular economic sphere; ability of a manager to conduct mental experiments in the processes of disobjectification and objectification of a need; comparing the results of personal economic thinking with practice.
