Abstract:

The article grounds the formation of a new format of international economic partnership and reveals its distinctive features. The major problems hindering the involvement of Russia’s regions in this process are formulated. A number of managerial instruments promoting partnership within the BRICS and fostering socio-economic development of regions are identified. The use of these tools not only improves the level of socio-economic development of regions and the national economy at large, but also is designed to increase the importance of integration associations of a new format in the global economy.
