Transformation of Government Regulation of Investment Activity in the Context of Agricultural Clusters Formation

Abstract:

The paper investigates the issues of transformation of the government model of investment activity regulation in the national agriculture in the context of regional agricultural clusters formation. Based on the study of existing models of government regulation, the authors prove the most appropriate model of investment activity in the agrarian sector. Investment cooperatives can play an important part in the formation of regional agricultural clusters. It is suggested to create a two-tier investment cooperative that is specific to the economy of the Republic of Tajikistan. The article states that under the formation of regional agricultural clusters, government regulation of investment activity should be of special character. The authors have developed a stimulation model of regional agricultural clusters. The leading position in accelerating the clustering process in the agricultural sector of the Republic of Tajikistan is given to the state and that will boost the investment process in the country.
