Staff Activity in the Context of Changes as a System-Forming Factor in Organizational Relationships

Abstract:

In the article, in the context of the activity approach, the determinants of organizational relationships are considered. The concepts of important psychological aspects of organizational behavior are revealed. The paper presents the views of domestic and foreign authors on the activity, as a system factor of the relationship. The views of Russian and foreign researchers on activity as a system-forming factor are discussed. There are two approaches to the content analysis of joint activity: structural and dynamic (procedural). In the theoretical review, special attention is paid to the attributes that characterize the structure of a joint activity, such as motivation to work together (shared motivation); association, combination and integration of individual activities; coordination of individual activities of the joint activity’s participants. The procedural nature of the activity and its dynamic patterns are reflected in the description of empirical research. The purpose of the study is to work out the most promising strategies of overcoming behavior in the context of changes. The paper also provides empirical data on the dynamics of organizational changes and discovers a correlation between dynamic processes and characteristics of organizational activity. Based on the research it is possible to implement programs on staff activities planning. Practical recommendations are given.
