Abstract:

The article examines the mechanism and infrastructure to support small and medium-sized businesses in Russia at municipal level. The state support measures are widely discussed in modern literature, but at the same time there are no indepth studies on the competence of local governments in this sphere. Based on the analysis of the infrastructure to support small and medium-sized enterprises in the municipality of Yekaterinburg, the authors proposed directions for further development of support measures at the level of local government. There are given recommendations to facilitate access of small and medium-sized businesses to property and land resources of the municipality.
