Development Prospects for the Russian Loan Market in the Light of the Second Wave of the Crisis

Abstract: At the present moment there is still no consensus among economists on development prospects for the Russian loan market. There exists a variety of theoretical views on how the loan market and the entire financial market are going to develop. This uncertainty is associated with introduction of Basel II and Basel III regulations. In the article the current state and development trends of Russia’s economy are analysed – its banking system and loan market in particular.
