Abstract: The article deals with the current methodological aspects of calculating the balance of money income and expenditure of population in Russia, legal documents that describe its performance. The statistical data of the balance for a number of years is analysed. The main problems of calculating the indicators of the balance of money income and expenditure of population in Russia are revealed and the solutions are proposed.
