Abstract: The article deals with the evolution of conceptual approaches to the formation of infrastructure that stimulates innovative activity in a region. The analysis of program documents in the field of innovative development allowed the authors to prove the transition from the concept of establishing innovative infrastructure on the basis of separate technology parks to the concept of developing general economic elements of infrastructure.
