Local Government in the Evolution of Foreign Concepts, Theories, Models of Federalism: Financial Aspect

Abstract: In the article foreign concepts, theories and models of federalism are introduced to the Russian economic science; their systematization and ordering for the Russian language environment are carried out. The authors consider the role of local government (which in the Russian legislation corresponds to local authorities) in the evolution of the global scientific idea of federalism. The emergence of the “new” types of federalism is justified by intergovernmental relations and governance getting more complicated.
