Abstract: The paper looks at the particularities of applying clustering principles while shaping the conceptual models of industrial parks in Russia. Having examined the characteristics of the existing industrial parks the author makes the conclusion about the use of such clustering principles as geographical localization and sharing common institutional and market infrastructure. At the same time the principle of deliberate inclusion of companies with good economic relations in the number of residents is applied only in 28% of cases what makes it possible to recommend to utilize a complex of methods describing intersectoral relations while forming the conception of an industrial park.
