Author: Andrey V. Chernov, Cand. Sc. (Philosophy), Associate-Prof. of General and Economic History Dept., Urals State University of Economics

Abstract: The article analyses different models of social state: European, Arabic, PaleoAmerican and Soviet models. The author believes that the form of government (political regime) does not exert any influence on the essence of social state. The paper supports the assumption that economic model contradicts the principle of social state since it violates the principle of social justice.
