Formation of Competitive Environment in Infrastructure Sectors with Natural Monopoly Component

Abstract: In the article the theoretical approaches to the concept of competitive environment in industry markets are analysed. The authors determine two basic approaches – institutional and marketing – to the formation of competitive environment. Based on studying today's foreign experience in competitive environment formation in infrastructure sectors with natural monopoly component, the authors put forward a new interpretation of the concept of competitive environment.
