Problems of Legal Regulation of Technology Parks in Russia

Abstract: Russia is rapidly moving towards innovation. New organizational forms of innovative entrepreneurship are developing including technology parks. Yet the country still has not adopted a federal law to regulate the activity of technology parks, though in the subjects of the Russian Federation such as Sverdlovsk, Kemerovo, Voronezh oblasts, the Republic of Dagestan and others the laws have already been operating since 2006. The article carries out legal analysis of the technology parks’ activities in Russia and examines the draft law “On technology parks in high­tech sphere”; conclusions on regulation of technology parks in Russia are made.
