The Peculiarities of State Support of Russian Agriculture in the Context of the WTO

Abstract: The article provides overall characteristics of Russia’s basic obligations to adopt its state agrarian policy when accessing the WTO. The author considers the specifics of contemporary Russian agricultural policy according to the Agreement on Agriculture and examines its three main aspects: access to domestic market, domestic support, and export subsidies. International experience of implementing the Agreement on Agriculture in terms of domestic support is analyzed.
