Abstract: The article considers development prospects for industrial cooperation between Russia and Ukraine in the sphere of innovation in order to increase competitiveness of national economies and encourage successful integration of the two countries into the world economic system. Based on the European experience the authors suggest developing such a form of innovative and industrial activity as techno­logy platform. This will facilitate the implementation of joint scientific­technological cooperation projects, building new production chains to produce synergy effect in the domestic and international markets.
