Abstract:

The paper develops an algorithm for creating an information system for planning and management with a view to compensating for the shortcomings of the existing systems. To gain an advantage in the market, companies have to adapt to changes in the economic environment within the shortest possible time, seek new competitive mechanisms and update the current production methods. It is necessary to introduce innovation in order to be able to provide consumers with products that differ from those available in the market. To monitor financial and economic activity, analyse possible risks and evaluate the economic effect of innovations development in the conditions of diverse factors influencing an organization’s activity, companies have to automate management accounting. The paper determines the role of the process of economic planning and management in an organization and describes the fundamental principles of creation and introduction of an integrated system of economic planning and management. The authors propose the mathematical apparatus which underlies the calculation algorithm. We analyse the expediency of introducing the system of economic planning, identify typical mistakes when designing the process of planning and detemine possible ways to solve them, which will allow Russian companies to reach a new level of efficiency of financial and economic activity.
