Vocational Education System: the Role of Employers

Abstract:

Implementation of a bail-out plan and measures on import substitution in Russia predetermines the need for the effective use of available human resources. At the same time, it is advisable to specify the main directions of improvement of vocational education system taking into account the experience in preparation of highly skilled specialists and a possible influence of certain employers on functioning of educational institutions. In the article the most effective forms of cooperation between potential employers and vocational education institutions are examined. The special features of interrelationships between specific links of vocational education and employers at territorial and corporate levels are revealed. The necessity to involve employers in improving practical training of the teaching staff is established.
