Abstract: The article includes the analysis of integration processes in the global market of passenger air transportation. The author gives the definition of airline economic integration. Forms of interaction between carriers in terms of globalization are described. Strategies of entering the global airline alliance and forming a low­cost subsidiary are considered as an essential condition for embedding Russian air carriers in the international system of passenger air traffic.
