Management Subsystem as the Fifth Perspective of the Balanced Scorecard Concept

Abstract: The opportunity to enter additional aspects into the installed system of the balanced scorecard (BSC) is used. It is suggested to expand the BSC concept with management competencies that make up intellectual asset of the organization. The fifth perspective of “management subsystem” is introduced into the  structure of the BSC concept. Performance indicators of management actions in achieving of the strategic goals of the organization are established. An attempt to formulate the basic performance indicators of the “management subsystem” perspective is made. In practice, the expansion of the BSC concept is aimed at increasing non­financial indicators in achieving the main strategic objective of the organization.
