Abstract: In the article the issues of quality assurance and safety of food products in conditions of logistic integration are explored. Based on the open source information it was found that these issues are of special interest for international community as a whole and for Russia in particular. Reduced quality of food products is regarded as the most significant group of risks in ensuring food security of the Ural federal district. Resolving the mentioned problems should be based on an integrated approach and existing achievements in this area including international experience and practice. Theoretical and practical studies allowed the authors to work out the main directions for achieving the unity between the participants of logistic integration in the sphere of quality assurance and safety of food products.
